Materials Overview

The material panel is used to create and manage materials.

It is made up of a series of sub-panels, including the Material Palette, Texture Library, and Material Library sub-panels.

As with all of the Construction Panels (Material, Component, Operation and Hierarchy) there are two ways to view the Material Panel, in a fully expanded state by choosing the Material Tab Button-Construction-Material.gif (1138 bytes) or in a customizable state by selecting Customize Panels Button-Construction-Customize.gif (1126 bytes).

Click Button-Panel-Material.gif (138 bytes) to show the Material Palette sub-panel. Or select the Material Tab Button-Construction-Material.gif (1138 bytes) to show all Material sub-panels.

Click the Texture Library's Button-RollDown.gif (95 bytes) to show the Texture Library sub-panel. Click Button-RollUp.gif (93 bytes) to hide the panel. Or select the Material Tab Button-Construction-Material.gif (1138 bytes) to show all Material sub-panels.

Click Button-Panel-MaterialLibrary.gif (151 bytes) to show the Material Library sub-panel. Or select the Material Tab Button-Construction-Material.gif (1138 bytes) to show all Material sub-panels.
